e-Learning Solution
Our latest project is designing and developing an e-Learning solution for Inspyr, a business development company based in Oxfordshire, UK.
Inspyr realised that onsite training was not always necessary, or cost effective for their clients, so looked into providing a training scheme that could be undertaken to fit in with their clients daily work schedules.
eBiz Solutions were approached following a referral from a mutual client, and working closely together we are putting together a specification for the project.
The solution is due to be launched in July 2005, and will enable Inspyr to cover a much wider customer base for their training courses.
e-Commerce Solution
Complete Polythene Packaging, a packaging company based in Oxfordshire, realised the most effective way to grow their business substantially, was to enable online purchasing of their massive product range.
Because of the enourmous, and diverse, number of products, we set about developing an intricate database to support their product catalogue and shopping cart. The solutions is now under development, and we are expecting to launch in July 2005.
Online Data Backup
Martin & Co Estate Agents had an unfortunate database corruption caused by there database application. The corruption caused the loss of over 6Gb of business critical data, which could never be recovered.
eBiz Solutions were approached to provide a Secure Data Backup Solution to ensure that data loss would not happen again. We installed, and configured, our ServerLite product, which now does a daily backup of all required business critical data, totally transparent to the day to day running of the Martin & Co office.
Unfortunately, 3 weeks later Martin & Co were subjected to another database corruption, again caused by the database application. This time, because of our Online Backup solution, they were able to fully recover their previous days backup, ensuring that within 1 hour they were fully up and running again, this time with no data loss.
Minuteman Press had historically used traditional tape and CD methods of backing up their business critical data. However, these methods were proving to be time consuming, expensive, and inconsistent in that staff sometimes "forgot" to run the nightly backup.
eBiz Solutions were approached to provide a Secure Data Backup Solution, that would ensure backup of business critical data happened every day, without the need for human intervention, and without the need for ongoing hardware maintenance and changes. We installed, and configured, our ServerLite product, which now ensures that all the business critical data is securely backed up, every day, without fail, whilst also saving costs.
